Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (5N/6D)

Day 1: Chennai

Arrive Chennai, the gateway to southern India, established in 1639 by the East India Company. Pick up from Chennai Airport/Station & transfer to Hotel, check-in. Later depart for Chennai local sightseeing visiting Gandhi Memorial, Fort St. George, Kapaleshwar Temple, Parthasarthy Temple, Kala Kshetra, Mylapore Temple, Pantheon Museum & Art Gallery, Old Lighthouse, and Marina Beach. Night halt at Chennai.

Day 2: Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (110 Kms / 2½ Hrs)

After breakfast, check out and depart to Mahabalipuram. Enroute visit Kanchipuram, the ancient capital of the Pallavas, famous for its temples and silk. Visit Kailash Nath Temple, Ekambareshwaram Temple, Sri Kamakshi Temple, etc. Continue drive to Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram). On arrival, check-in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Night halt at Mahabalipuram.

Day 3: Mahabalipuram

After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing around Mahabalipuram visiting Shore Temple, Trimurti Cave Temple, Arjuna’s Penance, Five Rathas, and Sculpture Museum. Afternoon free at the beach or visit Dakshinachitra Cultural Centre. Overnight at Mahabalipuram.

Day 4: Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (90 Kms / 2 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Pondicherry. Check-in at hotel and proceed for a half-day city tour to Aurobindo Ashram. Evening stroll at the cleanest beach side. Overnight at Pondicherry.

Day 5: Pondicherry

After breakfast, depart for local sightseeing of Pondicherry reflecting French heritage. Afternoon, visit Auroville, Vardaraja Perumal Temple, Vedapureswarar Temple, Manakula Vinayagar Temple, war memorial, Town Hall, Arikamedu, Pondicherry Beach, Botanical Garden, and Bharati Park. Night halt at Pondicherry.

Day 6: Pondicherry – Chennai Departure

After breakfast, drop at Chennai Airport/Railway station for onward journey.

• 25% of the total tour cost beyond 7 days of the tour departure date
• No refund within 7 days of the tour departure date
• No refund for bookings during peak dates/high season
