Pondicherry – Tanjore – Madurai – Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari (7N/8D)

Day 1: Chennai – Pondicherry (155 Kms / 2½ Hrs)

On arrival at Chennai Airport, you will be transferred to Pondicherry. On arrival, check into the hotel. Day at leisure. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 2: Pondicherry

After breakfast, depart for local sightseeing of Pondicherry, reflecting French heritage. Visit Aurobindo Ashram, city of dawn, Auroville, Vardaraja Perumal Temple, Vedapureswarar Temple, Manakula Vinayagar Temple, war memorial, Town Hall, Arikamedu, Pondicherry Beach, Botanical Garden, and Bharati Park. Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

Day 3: Pondicherry – Tanjore (180 Kms / 4½ Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Tanjore visiting Chidambaram Nataraj Temple and Gangakondacholapuram Temple en route. Check-in at hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at Tanjore.

Day 4: Tanjore – Trichy (60 Kms / 1½ Hrs)

Visit the Palace, Art Gallery, and Museum. Explore Brihadewswara Temple (Big Temple), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later, drive to Trichy and visit Srirangam Temple. Overnight stay in Trichy.

Day 5: Trichy – Madurai (140 Kms / 2½ Hrs)

After breakfast, depart to Madurai. On arrival, check-in at hotel and enjoy a city tour visiting Sri Meenakshi Sundereswarar and Palani temples, King Tirumala's Palace, Vandiyur Mariamman Tank, and Gandhi museum. Overnight stay in Madurai.

Day 6: Madurai – Rameshwaram (180 Kms / 3 Hrs)

After breakfast, proceed to Rameshwaram, visiting Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertham, Dhanushkodi, Kurusadai Island, and optionally the Samadhi of Dr. Abdul Kalam. Overnight stay at Rameshwaram.

Day 7: Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari (320 Kms / 6 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari. On arrival, visit Amman Temples, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial, and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.

Day 8: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (95 Kms / 2 Hrs)

After breakfast, visit Vivekananda Rock Memorial and then proceed to Trivandrum Airport / Nagercoil Railway Station for onward journey.

• 25% of the total tour cost beyond 7 days of the tour departure date
• No refund within 7 days of the tour departure date
