Cochin – Munnar – Thekkady – Alleppey – Kovalam – Kanyakumari (8N/9D)

Day 1: Arrive Cochin

Arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station. Transfer to Hotel. Check in to the Hotel. Sightseeing of Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Fort Kochi Beach, Chinese fishing Net etc. Overnight Stay at the Hotel.

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (158 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Wake early with the music of jungle, enjoy your breakfast at the hotel and later checkout and transfer to Munnar, the most favoured hill station of Kerala with its beautiful tea gardens, lakes, wildlife sanctuaries, and excellent climate round the year. Enroute stop for the mind-blowing view of waterfalls and streams. Beautiful view of Munnar hills covered with tea gardens is comparable to any tourist place all over the world. Arrive hotel and check-in. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 3: Munnar

Enjoy your breakfast at hotel restaurant and start your Munnar sightseeing early to cover beautiful places like Kundala Lake, Echo Point, Eravikulam National Park, lakes, pristine valleys, mountains covered with exotic species of flora and fauna, and unending expanse of tea plantations. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (110 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Morning transfer to Thekkady (Periyar). Thekkady has one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves noted for its geography, diverse wildlife, and scenic beauty. Arrive at Thekkady and check-in at Hotel. Later afternoon boat ride on Lake Periyar to view wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat. The greatest attraction is the herds of wild elephants visiting the lake (wildlife viewing depends on good fortune). Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 5: Thekkady – Alleppey Houseboat (140 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Morning at leisure. At 12:30 Hrs, commence an overnight houseboat cruise to Alleppey, giving a fascinating insight into the life of a Keralan Backwater Village. Observe daily village life: fishermen fishing, children playing in water, women doing chores, small market places, cultivation of paddy & coconuts, temples & churches. Lunch served on board. The boat anchors at dusk for overnight. Guests are dropped at Alleppey by 09:00 Hrs next day. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 6: Alleppey Houseboat – Kovalam (160 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Wake up early to enjoy the sunrise on backwaters. Observe fishermen catching fish and boatmen selling household items in small canoes. After breakfast, the boat will move for a morning cruise. Check out at 09:00 Hrs and proceed to Kovalam Beach. Journey through coastal Kerala with lagoons, rivers, and coconut palms. Arrive Kovalam, check-in, and relax on the beach. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 7: Kovalam – Kanyakumari (100 Kms / 2 Hrs)

Enjoy sunrise on the beach, breakfast, then checkout and transfer to Trivandrum to visit Sri Padmanabha Temple. Post Darshan, drive to Kanyakumari and check-in. Afternoon sightseeing of Kanyakumari, including Vivekananda Rock and Sunset at the tip of India. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 8: Kanyakumari – Departure (80 Kms / 2 Hrs)

Wake up early for a beautiful sunrise. Kanyakumari allows viewing both sunrise and sunset from the same point. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Trivandrum for your onward journey.

• No refund within 7 days of the tour departure date
