Cochin – Munnar – Thekkady – Alleppey (5N/6D)

Day 1: Arrive Cochin

Arrival at Cochin Airport / Railway Station. Transfer to Hotel. Check in to the Hotel. Sightseeing of Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Fort Kochi Beach, Chinese fishing Net etc. Overnight Stay at the Hotel.

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar (158 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Check out from hotel and leave for Munnar. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Munnar is located at the confluence of 3 rivers as the very name signifies. The sprawling tea plantations and picturesque towns make Munnar a popular hill resort town in South India. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 3: Munnar

In the morning start the sightseeing of Munnar visiting the tea plantations, Tea Museum, the Eravikulam National Park home of the endangered Nilgiri Thar (Ibex), followed by visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundala Lake, and other scenic spots. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (110 Kms / 3 Hrs)

Morning transfer to Thekkady (Periyar). Thekkady has one of the world’s most fascinating natural wildlife reserves noted for its geography, diverse wildlife and scenic beauty. Arrive at Thekkady and check-in at Hotel. Later afternoon boat ride on Lake Periyar to view wildlife at close quarters. The greatest attraction is the herds of wild elephants visiting the lake (wildlife viewing depends on good fortune). Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 5: Thekkady – Alleppey Houseboat (140 Kms / 4 Hrs)

Morning at leisure. At 12:30 Hrs commence an overnight houseboat cruise to Alleppey, offering a fascinating insight into the life of Keralan backwater villages. Observe daily village life: fishing, children playing, women working, cultivation of paddy & coconuts, local markets, temples & churches. Lunch is served on board. At dusk, the boat anchors for the night. Guests are dropped at Alleppey by 09:00 Hrs the following day. Overnight stay on Houseboat.

Day 6: Alleppey – Cochin Departure (90 Kms / 1.5 Hrs)

After breakfast, enjoy a short cruise on the lake. At 09:00 Hrs, boat arrives at Alleppey jetty. Check out and drive to Kochi Airport / Railway Station for onward journey.

Cancellation Policy

• 25% of total tour cost beyond 7 days of the tour departure date
• No refund within 7 days of the tour departure date
• No refund for bookings during peak dates/high season
