Amritsar – Dharamshala – Dalhousie – Vaishnodevi (7 Nights / 8 Days)
Day 1: Arrival Amritsar
Pick up from Amritsar Airport and transfer to hotel. Post lunch, visit Wagah Border to witness the Beating Retreat Ceremony. Transfer to Sadda Pind for dinner. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2: Amritsar – Dharamshala (250 Kms / 6 Hrs)
After breakfast, visit the Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh. Checkout by noon and transfer to Dharamshala, a scenic hill-station in the Dhauladhar Mountains and home to His Holiness the Dalai Lama since 1960. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3: Dharamshala Sightseeing
- St. John in the Wilderness Church – Gothic church with historic graves
- Bhagsunath Temple – 1770m above sea level, surrounded by lush greenery
- Tibetan Museum – History and culture of Tibet, with over 30,000 photographs
- Bhagsu Falls – Majestic waterfalls 2 km from McLeod Ganj
- Dal Lake – Small scenic lake with a Shiva temple nearby
- Kalachakra Temple – Mesmerizing murals and spiritual significance
Day 4: Dharamshala – Dalhousie (120 Kms / 4 Hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to Dalhousie, situated on five hills in Chamba district at 1,970 meters above sea level. Enroute visit Panchpula and St. John’s Church. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5: Dalhousie – Khajjiar (30 Kms)
Breakfast at hotel and sightseeing of Khajjiar, known as 'mini-Switzerland of India', famous for its forests, lakes, pastures, and a 9-hole golf course. Visit Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary for flora and fauna. Return to hotel for dinner. Overnight stay.
Day 6: Dalhousie – Jammu – Katra (220 Kms / 5-6 Hrs)
Early breakfast and drive to Katra, base for Maa Vaishnodevi shrine. Enroute visit Raghunath Temple at Jammu (time permitting). Check in at hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 7: Vaishnodevi Darshan
Early morning start for Vaishnodevi climb (13 km, 4-5 hrs). Stops at Adhkwari Temple and Baba Bhaironath Temple recommended. Queue times may vary from 30 mins to 3 hrs. Helicopter darshan recommended for morning flights. Return by late evening. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Katra – Jammu Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Jammu Airport/Railway Station for flight/train back home.

- Obtain Yatra slip only from official Katra Tourist Reception Centre; without it, crossing Ban Ganga check post not permitted
