Upon arrival at Srinagar Sheikh Ul Alam Int’l Airport (This must be one of the most scenic flights in the world, Srinagar is popularly known as the “City of Reshi’s & Sufi’s” and it is also the summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir), you will be met by our representative and transferred to the House Boat for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake, visiting floating vegetable gardens and open Dal Lake. Birdwatching opportunities include Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, and Grebe. Dinner & overnight stay at Houseboat. (D)
After breakfast, check out from the Houseboat and drive to Pahalgam, the “Valley of Shepherds”. Enroute visit saffron fields and 19th Century Awantipura Ruins. Upon arrival, check in to the pre-arranged hotel. Rest of the day free to explore Pahalgam on your own. Suggested excursions:

After breakfast, check out and drive to Gulmarg, “Meadow of Flowers” at an altitude of 2,650 m. Gulmarg is a famous ski resort with the world’s highest 18-hole golf course. On arrival, check in to hotel. Optional Gondola ride to Phase 1 or 2 at Mt. Affarwat. Enjoy Khilanmarg meadows and scenic views. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. (B&D)
