Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive Leh

Arrival at Leh Kushok Bakula Airport. Upon arrival, meet by INSIGHT representative and transfer to hotel. Rest and acclimatize. Welcome tea or coffee at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2: Leh - Excursion to Sham Valley (50 Kms / 3-4 Hrs)

Drive downstream along the Indus River on Leh-Kargil Highway. Visit Hall of Fame (Indian Army Museum), Gurudwara Patthar Sahib (3600 m), Magnetic Hill, and Confluence of Indus & Zanskar Rivers. Return to Leh. Evening visit Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa & Leh Market. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La 18,390 ft (120 Kms / 4–5 Hrs)

Drive to Nubra Valley via Khardung La (highest motorable road in the world). Nubra Valley (10,000 ft) is also called Ldumra or Valley of Flowers. On arrival, check-in at camp/hotel. Visit Hunder for Bactrian camel ride amidst sand dunes. Stop at Diskit town, visit Diskit Monastery (515 years old). Dinner & overnight at camp/hotel.

Day 4: Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake (170 Kms / 7 Hrs)

Drive via Agham & Shyok Valley, Durbuk & Tangtse villages, and Changthang. Arrive at Pangong Lake (14,000 ft, 133 km long, 5-6 km wide, bisected by Indo-China border). Check-in at camp near Pangong. Dinner & overnight.

Day 5: Pangong Lake to Leh via Changla (140 Kms / 6 Hrs)

Morning at leisure to explore Pangong Lake. Drive back to Leh via Changla Pass (5486 m), visiting Thiksey Monastery and Shey Palace en route. Check-in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: Leh - Departure

Tour concludes. Transfer to Leh Domestic Airport for onward journey.

Cancellation Policy
  • 25% of total tour cost beyond 7 days of departure
  • No refund within 7 days of departure
  • No refund for peak/high season bookings
Important Notes
  • Manali road tour operates from June to October only
  • Non-refundable bookings require full payment within one day of confirmation
  • Base category rooms provided unless specified
  • Room allotment on same floor or adjacent at hotel discretion
  • Vehicle as per itinerary, not at disposal
  • Extra charges if vehicle used for shopping/markets/restaurants
  • Hotels/camps provide hot water 6-8 AM & 6-8 PM only
  • Leh & remote areas have regular power outages
  • Hotels normally close gates at 11 PM
  • Surcharges for local events/high season may apply
  • Alternate hotels provided if proposed hotels unavailable; rate differences applied
  • No refund for unused services due to bad weather, health, strikes, road blocks, etc.
  • Prepaid SIMs may not work in Ladakh; postpaid recommended
  • Protected area permits required for certain foreign nationals; must be obtained from Indian Ministry of Home Affairs / External Affairs
  • Off-season (Oct–Apr) some hotels/camps may be closed; alternatives provided
