Route: Thimphu (3N) – Paro (3N)

DAY 01: PARO AIRPORT – THIMPHU

Meet & Greet on arrival at Paro Airport and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.). On arrival check in at hotel. Evening explore Thimphu town by walk. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

DAY 02: THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast visit Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue), National Memorial Chorten, Folk Heritage Museum, Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, Takin Preserve Centre and Tashichho Dzong. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

DAY 03: EXCURSION TO PUNAKHA / WANGDUE

After breakfast excursion to Punakha / Wangdue via Dochu-La-Pass (3150 mts.). Visit Punakha Dzong and Chhimi Lhakhang (Temple of Fertility). Evening return to Thimphu. Overnight stay at Thimphu.

DAY 04: THIMPHU – PARO SIGHTSEEING

Transfer to Paro. En-route visit Tamchog Lhakhang. Later visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong. Overnight stay at Paro.

DAY 05: PARO SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast hike to Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Later visit Drukgyel Dzong & Kyichu Monastery. Overnight stay at Paro.

DAY 06: EXCURSION TO CHELE-LA-PASS

Excursion to Chele-La-Pass (13,088 ft.) – the highest motorable road in Bhutan. Enjoy scenic views. Return to Paro. Overnight stay at Paro.

DAY 07: PARO AIRPORT – DEPARTURE

After breakfast check out from hotel and transfer to Paro Airport for onward journey.

Hike to Taktsang Monastery

Not recommended for guests travelling with small kids due to steep stairs and difficult terrain.
