Upon arrival at Srinagar Sheikh Ul Alam Int’l Airport (This must be one of the most scenic flights in the world, Srinagar is popularly known as the “City of Reshi’s & Sufi’s” and it is also the Summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir). You will be met by our representative and transferred to House Boat for check-in. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake, visiting floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake. Opportunities for bird watching include Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, and Grebe. Dinner & overnight stay at Houseboat. (D)
After breakfast, check out from Houseboat & leave for Pahalgam, “Valley of Shepherds”. Enroute visit saffron fields and 19th Century Awantipura Ruins. Upon arrival, check in at hotel. Leisure day to enjoy nature & walk along the banks of Lidder River. Pahalgam is famous for trekking routes & is the base camp for Amarnath Pilgrimage. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. (B&D)
