Day 1 : Arrive Bhubneshwar

Insight Holidays welcomes you to the temple city of Bhubaneshwar. On arrival meet our representative & transfer to your pre booked hotel. Post meal enjoy the perfect introduction of Temple City. Later visit the Udaygiri & Khandagiri Caves - an excellent example of Jain Cave Art, built by Kharavela around 1st - 2nd Century BC for Jain monks. Later Explore Odisha Crafts Museum also known as Kalabhoomi, which is a museum dedicated to the art and crafts of Odisha. Evening visit Sriram Temple & Ekamra Haat. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2: Bhubaneswar – Hirapur – Dahauli- Pipili – Puri

After relaxing morning start your tour by exploring temple architectures in Old Town including Lingaraj, Parsurameswar, Mukteswar ( know as the ‘Gem of Odia Architecture’ ) and Rajarani temple. Post lunch visit Buddhist Shanti Stupa at Dhauli Hills where Emperor Ashoka resorted to Buddhism after Kaling War in 261 B.C. Later visit Hirapur – 64 Yogini shrine dating back to the 9th century AD which gives a glimpse of the religious and occult practices of medieval times. Enroute visit Pipili, a centre for appliqué work, which depicts the essence of Odia culture. Take a stroll through the colourful market. Later Drive to Puri– The Sacred Land of Yogis, famous for ancient monuments, breathtaking temple architecture, art & craft villages & relaxing Golden Beach. On arrival check in to Hotel. Evening stroll at Beach Road. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 3: Puri – On to Konark & Raghurajpur

Today morning after breakfast begin your exploration with a historic tour to Black Pagoda - Sun Temple at Konark conceived in 13th century as a massive chariot hauling the Sun God across the heaven is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Stand Enthralled by its architectural & sculptural marvels. Visit the Archaeological Museum(Closed on Friday) to experience vast collections of Sculptures, artefacts & more then 250 antiques recovered from present temple. Visit the Fishermen’s Village & experience their pivotal daily life with fishing boat & net. Later drive towards Raghurajpur is a Heritage Craft village where the entire community is involved in making Pattachitra Palm Leaf engravings & Odishi & Gotipua dance forms, which are examples of rich craftsmanship & culture. Your tour doesn’t complete without witnessing Jagannath Temple. ( Non Hindus are not allowed into the premises of Temple). The 12th century Jagannath Temple at Puri is dedicated to Lord Jagannath –“The Lord of the Universe” where yogis and devotees throng to seek forgiveness, to seek blessing. The chariots of the divine siblings, Jagannath, Subhadra and Balabhadra, pulled by devotees through the grand road in the famous Rath Yatra in every July. Overnight stay in Puri

Day 4: Puri – Chilka Lake - Puri

Today early morning leave for Satapada at Chilika lake. Chilka Lake spread across 1200 sqkm is Asia’s largest brackish water lake studded with small islands and has a unique ecosystem with a large number of aquatic flora and fauna. Take enjoyable boat trip on the lake to meet Dolphins in nature. Later visit Raghurajpur, a Heritage Craft village where the entire community is involved in making Pattachitra Palm Leaf engravings. Your visit won’t be completed without witnessing the gracious Odissi & Goti Pua Dance. Day 5: Puri - Departure
