Conditions of Passage

Kindly go through the terms and conditions given herein below. While you submit query and deposit the amount to Insight Holidays for your trip, you accept the given terms & conditions. You agree that all these terms and conditions apply to the agreement that Insight Holidays, and its representative supplies to you.


We are committed to provide the best of services to every customer. While offering any travel related service to the customer, we endeavor to ensure that all the information given by us on our website or through any other source or provided by our representative, are complete and accurate. We neither guarantee nor take any responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the given information.

Our packages and other rate offers are inclusive of the services specified in our contract sent to the customer during the course of correspondence. Service like monument/museum entry tickets, travel insurance, special services / parties, personal expenses etc. are not included in our offers until specified unless. Any additional expenses incurred during the tour due to any unforeseen circumstances such as political closure, natural hazard, technical failure, flight delay / cancellation, sickness or any other unforeseen circumstances will be paid by the customer. Any additional tax introduced by the State/Central Govt. or any hike in diesel/petrol rate, museum/monument entry tickets, guide fee etc. incurred during the course of fulfillment of the tour, will be charged to the customer accordingly.
Insight Holidays act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them. We do not take the responsible for any complaint / dispute between the customer and any hotel. For any complaint, we request our customer to send us a written note in detail through fax OR e-mail as to enable us forward the same to the hotel for their clarification and further action on the same. We do not take any responsibility for any compensation due to any complaint and dispute between the client and the hotel.

In case we are required to pay any compensation or damages to any person including any employee of us or any client or to face any suit or case as a result of any action or failure to take action when required by a client, he shall be bound to compensate the company for such expenses. It shall be the sole responsibility of the client to ensure that no prohibited article or things, are carried on his person or the baggage and the client alone shall be responsible for the cost and consequences that follow in the event of the client carrying the same.

Itinerary & Price Changes

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail.The prices quotes are calculated at the rates prevailing at the time of booking and the rates are subject to changes before the date of departure.

Accuracy and adjustment to Tour Arrangements

In order to keep the tour as low as possible, tour arrangements are based on efficient use of transport and hotels hence these arrangements are planned in advance. It is the endeavour of us to ensure that what promised is followed exactly and that the suppler are efficient and reputable. However we do not have direct control over suppliers, we reserve the right to very the Tour arrangements as and when circumstances make it necessary to do so. Circumstances can change due to events beyond our control. Road works, changes of managements in a property or restaurant, closure of the same, or unavailability of hotel accommodation when booked for major events on overbooking by the hotel etc. In such case alternative arrangements shall be made for the clients such as route change, other alternative hotels and restaurants other than mentioned

Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us in according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred - directly or indirectly - due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting - directly or indirectly - from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.


We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Guests are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggage & personal property/s at all times and in all circumstances the responsibility of the client.


Refunds, if any payable in case of cancellation or amendment of tour due to force majeure or vis major will be paid directly to client for booking made directly with us and for bookings made through Travel Agents the refund will be routed through them after deducting the courier charges and it would take atleast 45 days to process such refunds. Even in case of a tour for which payment was made in foreign currency with or without part payment in Indian rupees the said refund shall be made only in Indian Rupees.

There shall be no refund if client fails to join or take the tour. There shall be no refund if client does not or cannot utilize any services included in the tour like meals, rooms, entry tickets, excursions etc., nor can any refund made for lost, mislaid or destroyed travel tickets vouchers.

Law and Jurisdictions

The contract between us and the client and every matter arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Indian laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts, forums and tribunals of Bhubaneswar.

Tour cost does not include

Insurance premiums, personal expenses on items like laundry, drinks with meals or otherwise, soft drinks, bottled water, incidentals, porterages, bell boy charges, tips. airport security charges if levied by the airport, airport departure charges payable locally, optional excursions, cost of visa, passports & immigration charges, payment for services provided on a personal basis, meals other than those specified, flight suppliments and the single or role suppliment, and all such other items not specifically mentioned as being included in the cost.

Other Terms

There is no contract between us and the client until we have received the initial deposit mentioned. The full payment must be received in accordance with procedures laid down under-payments terms as mention in FAQ. If not paid in the time we reserve the complete right to cancel the booking with consequent loss of deposit and apply the cancellation charges as mentioned.
