Insight Holidays Terms of Use & Service

This web site (the “Site”) is published and maintained by Insight Holidays, a sister company of Insight Vacations Private Limited registered & existing in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. When you access, browse or use this Site you accept, without limitation or qualification, the terms and conditions set forth below. When you access any sub–site (whether belonging to an ‘associate’ of Insight Holidays (or otherwise) through this site, then such sub–site may have its own terms and conditions of use which is specific to such sub–site. Sub–sites may contain such additional terms and conditions of use as may be set out in such sub–site. These Terms and Conditions of Use and any additional terms posted on this Site together constitute the entire agreement between Insight Holidays and you with respect to your use of this Site.


Conditions of Passage

These conditions are applicable to every client who books a tour or travel arrangement. In the event of a client booking through us or of any other tour operator the terms and conditions specified by such tour operators, includes their payment schedule, cancellation, refund etc., shall be applicable in addition to our terms and conditions.


Insight Holidays act only in the capacity of agent for the hotels, airlines, transporters, railways & contractors providing other services & all exchange orders, receipts, contracts & tickets issued by us are issued subject to terms & conditions under which these services are provided by them. We do not take the responsible for any complaint / dispute between the customer and any airlines & hotels.


Itinerary & Price Changes

All itineraries are sample itineraries, intended to give you a general idea of the likely trip schedule. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of the participants etc. may dictate itinerary changes either before the tour or while on the trail.The prices quotes are calculated at the rates prevailing at the time of booking and the rates are subject to changes before the date of departure. 


Accuracy and Adjustment to Tour Arrangements

In order to keep the tour as smooth as possible, tour arrangements are based on efficient use of transport and hotels. Hence these arrangements are planned well in advance. It is the endeavour of our’s to ensure that what promised is followed exactly and that the suppler are efficient and reputable. However we do not have direct control over suppliers, we reserve the right to very the Tour arrangements as and when circumstances make it necessary to do so. Circumstances can change due to events beyond our control. Road works, changes of managements in a property or restaurant, closure of the same, or unavailability of hotel accommodation when booked for major events on overbooking by the hotel etc. In such case alternative arrangements shall be made for the clients such as route change, other alternative hotels and restaurants other than mentioned


Our rates are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us with the hotels, airlines etc. Hotels and airlines retain the right to modify the rates without notice. In case of such changes the rates quoted before the modification, can be changed by us in according to the modifications by hotels or airlines. All hotel bookings are based on usual check in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in the itinerary.


Reservations, Deposits & Final Payments

The carefully selected unusual programs featured in this website tend to sell out fast. As such, early reservations are essential to ensure availability of space. A deposit of INR 10000 per person is due to Insight Holidays at the time of reservation. A higher deposit may be required for some tours. If deposit is not received at our offices within 7 days from the date of reservations, booking/s is/are subject to cancellation. After receipt of deposit by Insight Holidays, any change/s made to the reservation/s will incur a processing fee of INR 2000 per each change. Final payment is due to Insight Holidays 60 days prior to departure date. If the reservation is made within the last 60 days of departure (and if space is still available), the entire tour price must be paid at the time of reservation.


Prices, Rates & Fares

Unless otherwise indicated, all price rates shown are in Indian Rupee and are per person sharing a double-bedded hotel room. Displayed tour prices are based on current tariffs and are subject to change prior to departure affected by new contract, taxes & change in fuel prices. Airfares are from Bhubaneswar and should be used as a guideline only. Best available airfares will be quoted, applicable at time of departure, based on individual gateways for the complete air itinerary.


Tour Information

Acknowledgement of booking will be sent immediately upon initiation of a reservation. Invoice with appropriate visa applications (if needed) and general information such as reading and clothing suggestions, customs information, anticipated weather conditions, etc. will be forwarded to you upon receipt of deposit. Final tour documents consisting of detailed tour itinerary, vouchers, hotel list, travel bags, baggage tags, etc., are dispatched from our offices approximately 21–30 days prior to departure. Driver details are shared by whatsapp/Call/mail before day EOD.



For all the services contracted, certain advance payment should be made to hold the booking, on confirmed basis & the balance amount would be paid before the commencement of the services. Management personnel hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as advance payment, based on the nature of the service & the time left for the commencement of the service.

Apart from above in some cases like Special Train Journeys, hotels or resorts bookings during the peak season (Dusshera, X-Mas, New Year), full payment is required to be sent in advance.


Cancellations & Changes

Because of the special nature of the programs featured in this website, suppliers impose rigid cancellation fees; please be aware that Insight Holidays has no control over such fees and cannot make any exceptions to these charges. Note: All cancellations must be received by Insight Holidays in writing; cancellation/s will be effective when the written notice is received at our offices at Bhubaneswar. Cancellation charges will be effective from the date we receive advice in writing, and cancellation charges would be as follows: - Less than 24hours:  One days accommodation/ transport rent Hotels during Conference/ Mega event : No shows after confirmation

In case of Special Trains Journeys and peak season(Festival/New Year Eve) hotel bookings a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which can be advised as and when required).  In case you cancel the trip after commencement, refund would be restricted to a limited amount only which too would depend on the amount that we would be able to recover from the hoteliers/ contractors we patronize.


For unused hotel accommodation, chartered transportation & missed meals etc. we do not bear any responsibility to refund.


Airfares are subject to different rules and cancellation fees; some may be non-refundable. Details will be provided upon request. To protect against cancellation charges due to illness & injury or interruption due to damage, loss or theft of baggage, miss connection as well as emergency assistance, we strongly recommend purchasing Cancellation Protection and Travel Interruption Insurance


Liabilities & Limitations

We shall not be responsible for any delays & alterations in the programme or expenses incurred - directly or indirectly - due to natural hazards, flight cancellations, accident, breakdown of machinery or equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to person, property, or otherwise in connection with any accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting - directly or indirectly - from any act of GOD, dangers, fire, accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts, pilferages, epidemics, medical or custom department regulations, defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.

We do not have any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons. Visitors are advised to seek such insurance arrangements in their home country. All baggages & personal property/s at all times are at the client's risk.

Unused Tour I& Services

No refund will be made for any unused accommodations, missed meals, transportation segments, cruise portions, sightseeing tours or any other service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable (no exceptions).


Your Tour Price Includes


Accommodations, on a double occupancy basis, will be provided at deluxe or first-class hotels. Rooms will be assigned by the respective supplier/s on a run-of-the-house basis, in category/ies as specified in the itinerary. In the rare cases where deluxe properties do not exist, best available (this term may be defined by the hospitality industry in the region providing such accommodation or by trade custom) accommodation/lodging will be used exclusively. All per person rates are based on double occupancy of the respective accommodation units as described above. A Tour member occupying single room, either by choice or by circumstance, will pay the single room supplement. Quoted single room rate does not necessarily mean single occupancy of a double room, as some of the establishments featured in this website have especially designed single

occupancy units.



Meals for each tour are included as stated on itinerary. Buffet meals and/or table d’hôte are offered. Special meals and entertainment are included as shown in the itinerary. In some rare instances, a meal may not be of a standard expected under the term of “deluxe” particularly in remote areas.


Sightseeing & Land Tour Services

The following services are included in your tour price: transportation between the airports and hotels, baggage handling, sightseeing with English-speaking guides as mentioned in the itinerary and all entrance fees to attractions visited as described in the itinerary. Sightseeing will be via Air Conditioned coach, private car and other modes of transportation), as determined by the nature of the terrain and as outlined in the itinerary.


Special Entertainment

Cultural entertainment events, gala evenings and/or festivals wherever included as part of group itinerary.


Airline Clause

The airlines used in conjunction with tours and holidays featured in this website are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passenger/s is not/are not onboard their aircraft. The passenger tickets in use by the airline, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airline and passenger/ s. Airfares, where used, are dynamic in nature and are subject to change without notice.


Non Refundable Air Tickets

For departures that are not guaranteed: If you are purchasing a non-refundable air ticket, please make sure that you are explained the difficulties associated with these airfares. Insight Holidays cannot be held responsible for any change/cancellation penalties associated with non-refundable airfares.


Tour Price Exclusions

Your tour price does not include: Air transportation (unless specifically stated as included); all items of a personal nature including alcoholic beverages (except on certain occasions): meals not specified, tips to tour guides; excess baggage charges; cancellation, health, accident and baggage insurance; Camera fees, vehicle at disposal not specified; and any items not specifically listed as included.



Insight Holidays reserves the right to take photographs during the operation of any program and to use resulting photographs for promotional purposes. Any passengers who prefer that their images not be used are asked to notify their tour escort at the beginning of the program.


Reservation of Rights

Insight Holidays (when deemed necessary) reserves the right to: (1) cancel any itinerary or any part of it; (2) make any alterations to the itinerary (including, but not limited to, alterations to substitution of hotels); and (3) decline to accept or to retain any person as a tour passenger should such person’s health, mental or physical condition, in the sole opinion of Insight Holidays, impede the operation of the tour of the other passengers. Tour members are held responsible for being in sufficient good health to undertake the tour. If a passenger is asked to leave while the tour is in progress, that person will be responsible for charges incurred on account of such departure from the tour and/or their return to home. In such a case, Insight Holidays will refund which can be recovered for the unused portion of the tour, taking into account additional charges incurred by Insight Holidays. Other than to refund such sum, Insight Holidays will accept no further liability or obligation toward that person or third party.


Craft Cancellation policy

Cancellation between confirmation & delivery

You can cancel your order, at any time within 3 days from your order confirmation.30% of the product cost will be deducted as service fee.

Post 3 days upto product delivery, for cancellation, charges are: 30% of the product cost adding both way shipping charges will be deducted and rest of the amount will be refunded back to your account ( the account from which payment has received) within 15 to 20 working days.


Product Return or Replace liabilities

We share 4D photographs of the product before delivery to ensure the quality. We do not accept returns or replacement unless the item you purchased is defective. If you receive a defective item, please mail us at: crafts@insightholidays.in on the day of receipt with details of the product & defect image. The product will receive if the item and their original boxes are in the same conditions as shipped to the customer.

After receiving the product, we will examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a refund or a replacement as a result of the defect. Replacement will depend upon the availability of the product of the same size & incase we will not find the alternate same size product, we will refund you 100 % within 25 to 30 working days. In case the product was damaged while in your possession, We will not be under any liability to process the refund/replacement




Insight Holidays is not responsible for any errors, omissions or misquotes contained in this website or any other accompanying promotional documentation. The contents of said website or promotional documentation may be changed at any time (including, but not limited to, rates and itinerary) without notice and at Insight Holidays sole discretion.

Law and Jurisdictions

The contract between us and the client and every matter arising from it shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Indian laws and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts, forums and tribunals of Bhubaneswar.
